BUCH: Hotel Noir 2

After his book debut in 2019 J. Konrad Schmidt directly won the German Photo Book Award in Gold in 2020 for „HÔTEL NOIR”. Now he released the second part of the project and presents it for the first time on stage in a rare lecture showing images, that otherwise cannot be seen. The „HÔTEL NOIR” project is entirely „offline” for good reasons. There is a distinct look to these analog images he photographed between Paris, New York, Tokyo, London, Berlin and Los Angeles. A sensual collection of strong, independent and authentic women who choose to live a very special life. The book is a „Noir” in the best sense - It is a whole world that J. Konrad Schmidt created in over 14 years of work. Arles 2024 is the first stop on his tour with the new book.
